This is the first wedding in wich 'The Memory Chest' has amazed guests and first of all bride and groom. Leon and Lisa enjoyed their lives summarised in a 40 page album. It created fun and moving moments... pure MMMAH! moment...

'The Memory Chest'. Share your best memories!

a magic surprise for the guests...

'The Memory Chest' is an interactive artwork that allows the couple to be wed to share their wedding photos (as well as other and earlier photo) with all the guests. It is designed and developed by experts of media arts and is presented as a product of class for special events such as weddings. 'The Memory Chest' make use of software and hardware designed ad hoc and under direct customer's specifications. Are you getting married? Are you a wedding planner? Are you the Best Man or Maid of Honour an want to impress the couple to be wed?

THE SENSOR

the magic box

The magic of 'The Memory Chest' is all in a small box designed and manually crafted. Inside the box there is a small computer, a projector and sensors that detect the presence of the user and analyze the movement of his hand.

THE PLACE

the magic place

The box can be placed anywhere and in the direction of the surface on which you want to project. In the photo below, the box has been positioned on the edge of a fountain but it can be place on a window, on a wall, on a monument or anywhere suits best.

THE EFFECT

the wow! effect

When a guest approaches the fountain, the box detects the presence and the image of a photo album is projected on the designated surface. A swipe of the hand above the box allows the guest browse through the photo album!

we are art and technology fanatics! we love to make things that make people think and put a smile on their faces!

MMMAH.COM is a creative media company founded by Danilo and Giuseppe.(... mmmah?! who are these guys? ) Well, below a short story...don't worry we don't want to bore you ;-)

Danilo is a graphic designer and email marketing developer from Palermo (Sicily) currently based in London. He likes colours, simple shapes and elegant things (aaahh).

Giuseppe is a digital media artist also from Palermo (ooohh) and currently based in Limerick (Ireland). He likes to make cool arty things with software and hardware. If you want to know more about me you can click HERE.

Last year, Giuseppe, as a wedding present to Danilo, developed an early prototype of the Interactive Wedding Album. The guests, Danilo and his bride were captivated!... well, once the wedding party was over Danilo and Giuseppe decided to share this idea, along with many others to come, with all the people out there who have the same passion for creative, unique and elegant digital artworks.
